We are constantly looking for bright, energetic people to support our charitable efforts.  Residents and non-residents alike are invited to join in the activities of the Charity Guild.  We meet the 2nd Tuesday of specified months during the school year (see the Homeowners' Newsletter).  Membership information is available from the Membership Chairperson, Robin Costello at 678-957-9435 or by email at thosebirds@aol.com.

The final meeting for the operating year from September to May was held at St. Ives Country Club on Tues. May 13. 

Joanie Frame was presented with the Volunteer of the Year award.  Members stayed for a festive luncheon following the meeting.  There will be no meetings over the summer. 

The Guild members and St. Ives Homeowners will, however, participate in a Food Drive for North Fulton Community Charities on June 27,28 & 29 (Judy Remiszewski, chairperson) and the collection of Backpacks for Star House elementary school children (Carole Magee, chairman) dates TBA.  Flyers will provide details. 

The major spring fund raiser was the successful annual Garage Sale, in which 26 homeowners participated.  That fund raiser plus the annual November Arts & Crafts Show and the Wine Tasting Party in Feb. helped us raise operating funds and provide gift donations to our three main beneficiaries which this year have been North Fulton Community Charities, STAR House and CHRIS Kids. In addition a huge in-kind donation through drives for winter wear/coats, Holiday Adoptions Easter baskets, backpacks, toiletry kits and food collections is made every year.
